Central Library

The Central Library is a well-stocked, fully computerized library with 1,167 volumes, serving as a hub of academic excellence. The library continuously strives to procure the latest and most relevant resources to meet the academic and career requirements of our students.

The library follows an Open-Access System, allowing students to browse documents through computer terminals for easy and quick searches. All documents are arranged as per the International Classification Scheme and catalogued following AACR-2 rules.

A catalogue cabinet and computerized system are placed at the library entrance to help users access information about the available resources.

Library Timings

• Working Days: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Sundays & Holidays: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Issue Counter Timing: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Library Staff

The library has 6 staff members, out of which 3 are professionally qualified in Library & Information Science.

Book Issue Rules

• Students: 5 books
• Professor: 10 books
• Assistant Professor: 8 books
• Lecturer: 6 books
• Instructor / Lab Assistant / Programmer / Others: 5 books

Borrowing Policy

• Books may be retained for a maximum period of 15 days.
• An overdue fine of ₹1.00 per book per day will be levied for late returns.

• Member of DELNET, providing access to 400 full-text engineering e-Journals from 1,158 journal articles and 538 e-Books
• The main library consists of 1,167 volumes
